Since 2005, the Around the Bay Road Race has been a charity event. All funds raised support the compassionate patient care and groundbreaking research that are the hallmarks of St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton.

The Bay Race is its 118th year, while St. Joseph's is in its 121st year. These two organizations were founded on over a century of hard work and determination, and they both touch so many people in our community. Help our hospital continue caring for our community by walking, running and raising funds in the Bay Race. As soon as you register for the Bay Race, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your very own online pledge page. Copy this link and paste it into a new email to friends, family and colleagues who may wish to sponsor you as you run the oldest road race in North America!
The Bay Race Sells Out Every Year... but now you can guarantee your spot in the race!
The two by 15K and three by 10K relays are already sold out, and the 30K race is filling up fast. But know, with a St. Joe's Charity Spot you can still participate in the event of your choice. Guarantee your spot by collecting pledges from family and friends or making a donation to St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation! (You will receive a tax receipt for the allowable amount.)

| 30k Run | Raise a minimum of $500 |
| 30k Walk | Raise a minimum of $500 |
| 2 x 15k Relay | Raise a minimum of $1,000 |
| 3 x 10k Relay | Raise a minimum of $1,000 |
Fundraising prizes are applicable except for the free race registration prize.
