Funds raised through the Around the Bay Road Race support St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation thereby enhancing patient care, funding critical medical research and enabling the hospital to purchase the most innovative equipment. Your fundraising efforts ensure that whenever you need us, we'll be here, going the extra mile to provide the very best care to all those in need.
Help us continue this important work by asking friends and family to run and raise pledges with you. After you register, you will receive a link to your very own online pledge form. Copy this link and send it to friends and family who wish to support you and St. Joseph's.

Community Champions
Each year St. Joseph's invites a 'champion' of the community to spear-head the race's fundraising efforts, and to raise awareness for the Hospital and its programs. This year we have two champions going the extra mile!

Ted Michaels is the Afternoon News Anchor on Hamilton's News Talk Leader, AM 900 CHML. A native Hamiltonian and the play-by-play voice of the McMaster Marauders, Ted's baritone is one of the most recognizable in the business. Join Ted as he runs the 5k portion of the Bay Race. Student Challenge
Is your school going the extra mile for St. Joseph's?
Join Hamilton Ticat Jesse Lumsden in the 5k Student Challenge
Students can walk or run in the 5k LIME RIDGE Student Challenge. Bring your friends! Challenge your teachers! Raise funds for St. Joseph's and win great prizes too. The school that raises the most pledges will win the LIME RIDGE Challenge Cup.
All students are eligible for a discounted registration fee of $20 available only through St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation. Students who raise $100 or more will receive their registration fee back.

Where can you sign up?
- St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation or…
- Visit your school athletics department for a brochure.
- Fill out the registration form in the brochure, and hand it back to the athletics department.
- Then get out there and start raising money!
