How to Enter
On-Line Registration for 2010
All events are full as of Feb 25.
2- and 3-Person Relay / 30k / 5k Charity Spots available ($1,000 / $500 / $250)
The charity spot registration fee can be paid by collecting pledges from family and friends or making a donation to receive a tax receipt for the allowable amount.

Entry Limits
To better serve participants, the Bay Race has set the following limits for 2010:
- 30k Walk/Run — 7,000 participants
- 5k — 2,000 participants
- 3-person Relay teams — 250 teams
- 2-person Relay teams — 250 teams
Register early to avoid disappointment! In 2009 the limits were filled 2 months prior to race weekend.

Running Room Confirmation List
If you have registered through the Running Room, you will be listed on their confirmation list. On the Running Room page, hover the cursor over 'Confirmation' in top menu to select your event.
Transfer Entry to Another Person
You can transfer your entry to another person, online. Cost to transfer to another person is $15.

Registration Policies
Please read carefully before registering for any event(s).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Entry fees are non-refundable. Entries are non-deferrable to another year. That means that once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not transfer your entry to another year.
The Bay Race, in accordance with management executives, city officials and local law enforcement has the authority to cancel any of the events for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather or threat of terrorism. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be provided since funds will have been spent in preparation for Race Day. T-shirts will be distributed.
Participants unable to participate may pick up their runner packet and turn in their timing chip at the registration area. All race packets become the property of the Bay Race once Registration and Packet Pickup closes.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
5k Run/Walk - There are no course or age restrictions.
30k Run/Walk/Relays - You must be 15 years of age on race day to participate in the 30k Run/Walk/Relay.
RACE PACKET PICKUP
All participants are required to pick up their bib number and their ChampionChip™ during the Health and Fitness Expo. The hours of operation are Friday, March 26, 2010 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm and Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR RUNNER PACKET PICKUP.
COURSE TIME LIMITS
Participants must be able to complete the 30k Run in 5 hours from the start of the horn at 9:30am and Walkers must complete the 30k Walk in 6 hours from the start of the horn at 8:30am.
All participants not reaching the 15km point by 12:00 noon will not be allowed to finish the race.
At the discretion of the POLICE, due to traffic control and runner safety, slower participants may be asked to walk along the sidewalks and obey traffic rules.
